Charity Services

We regard our working relationships with charity clients as twofold. Firstly, to manage the investments well and secondly, to help trustees fulfil their duties. A dedicated investment manager will take full responsibility for the fund and for this working partnership.

We provide segregated investment portfolios for charities rather than using common investment funds. Our strategies are based on an analysis of the income requirement, risk tolerance, time horizon, need for inflation protection, investment powers and other constraints. Any asset allocation policy and long-term strategy will give due regard to both current and future beneficiaries.

We understand all the issues relevant to trustees, particularly helping them follow the guidelines on Investment of Charitable Funds and attain the Hallmarks of an Effective Charity. Our investment reports are clear and concise. They provide all the investment-related information necessary to aid the swift preparation of accounts in accordance with SORP 2000 and the Charity Commission’s suggested Framework. We will review, or work with you to draft, a written investment policy and we will help set standard or specially tailored benchmarks for your fund. Regular meetings with trustees are part of our service and our investment managers are always accessible.
