Taylor Young subscribes to the research of leading economists in the City including Andrew Hunt Economics, Capital Economics and Lombard Street Research. This research forms important input to the macro economic house assumptions and forecasts.

Meetings with company management and city analysts are a key element of our overall analysis. The Investment Team directly assembles the views and sentiment of industrialists and entrepreneurs providing an invaluable insight into industry trends and trading conditions. A significant amount of external research is filtered and reviewed by the Investment Team for any valuable contribution that may support the formulation of the house view. Data and opinion is obtained from worldwide sources and our position as an independent house is central in this respect.

The Investment Team regularly meets with the managers of leading collective funds and has strong contact with external fund managers. Taylor Young is able to obtain first hand information on the fund manager’s style and investment outlook.

We have developed a number of tools and techniques designed to set out key information used to screen stocks across global markets. Sector and stock specific analysis drives the construction of broad based Master and Watch Lists of preferred securities. In turn, these securities form the basis of our building block structures and ultimately unite to form our house and bespoke models and resultant client portfolios.
